Today on Impolite Company, I talk with a panel of experts about the election and the aftermath – Amy Carr, Christine Helmer, and Adam Kradel.

If you care about homelessness, check out the Memorial Blanket Project.  Each year people make blankets for strangers and we make an art installation to highlight homelessness and then give them all away.  We’ve done this in Carlisle, PA, the front lawn of the US capitol, and last year on the steps of the PA Capitol.  This year we’ll be at the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.  You can help – go to www.memorialblanket.org.

Lastly, looking for a tool to help you with difficult conversations around gun violence, check out “American Roulette” – a novel about 8 people, over the course of one day. The focus of the book is seeing the humanity of the victims, the community, and even the perpetrator. All proceeds of the book go to organizations addressing gun violence. You can find the book on Amazon – https://a.co/d/2l7hG81.
