Prayer for August 13, 2020

Prayer for August 13, 2020: Please pray with me.  Creative God, thank you.  Thank you for creating creation.  Thank you for bringing order out of chaos.  Thank you for giving function and purpose and meaning.  Too often we take these things for granted.  But without order, function, and purpose, where would we be?  So many people struggle with meaning – feeling that they lack meaning and purpose in their life.  No wonder so many search for these things in idols and other things that are attempts to fill the void in our souls.  But these other things never satisfy.  They can’t.  Only you can.  Only you can offer what we need so that we can rest.  So that we can just be. Thank you.  Amen.
