Prayer for August 30, 2021

Prayer for August 30, 2021: Please pray with me. God who perseveres, you have kept going in spite of so much. There are countless prophets who faced terrible odds, and yet you kept them going. Disciples faced persecution and yet you gave them what they needed to keep going. You are a God who perseveres. Maybe that’s because you have a mission that is vitally important for all of creation and there is nothing that will get in the way of your will being done. Sure there are obstacles and resisters, but they don’t last. Only you do. Keep giving us what we need to carry out your mission and vision for creation. Amen.

Call to Action: What is God calling you to? What obstacles are in the way of that? Where is God in the midst of the obstacles? What are you committed that will keep you going? And then – keep going. And going. And going.
