Prayer for January 20, 2021

Prayer for January 20, 2021: Please pray with me. God who inaugurates a new way of being, a new way of life, you call on us to participate in your ways, and in your kingdom. Today we inaugurate a new president and administration in this nation. We pray that your ways may guide and direct their paths. We pray that peace may be the hallmark of this administration. We pray that the poor and homeless, the outcast and despised may receive care. We pray that instead of bombing our enemies, that we may shower them with love. We pray that the wicked may be thwarted and that the lowly may be lifted up. We pray that wisdom may reign. Amen.
