Prayer for July 16, 2020

Prayer for July 16, 2020: Please pray with me.  God of grace, you give us the free gift of grace.  It requires nothing from us in order to receive it.  But it comes with responsibility in how we respond to it.  Give us the courage to live into that grace – a life changing and transforming grace.  Give us the courage to say no to injustice – to stop giving permission to the status quo.  To live differently.  No violently fighting against systems, but not living into them willingly.  Inviting others to live differently too.  And give us the courage to be a lone voice that refuses to give permission.  Amen.
