Prayer for May 4, 2020

Prayer for May 4, 2020: Please pray with me.  God who is, open us to be encountered by you.  You are the Good Shepherd who leads us, not the Good Customer Service Rep who satisfies our every want and desire.  Too often we wish we could transform you and mold you into someone we can control, but that is not you.  Thank you.  You give us what we need, but not always what we want.  Your ways are not our ways.  Open us to see that you know better than we do.  Open us to your ways.  Open us to letting go of our own desires in order to be in alignment with you.  Amen.
