Prayer for October 30, 2020

Prayer for October 30, 2020: Please pray with me. God who is king of kings and Lord of Lords, you are all powerful. But how many of us think of that as being an extension of human power? You aren’t a super human. Our version of power is not the same as your version. You are powerful in a different way. A way that is self-emptying. A way that is love. A way that needs not boast or coerce. A way that does not manipulate or force. A way that requires no weapons or intimidation. Your way is powerful though, in spite of it not being the way think it is. And it is through this power that the world is changed. And so are we. Amen.
