Prayer for September 25, 2020

Prayer for September 25, 2020: Please pray with me. God of justice, we pray that your justice may flourish. The world is your creation. We are the created, yet I wonder how often we forget that. Humanity creates unjust systems that harm and kill so many – kill black and brown people unjustly, oppress people because of their sexuality, scapegoat because of where they come from, blame because of their economic situation, etc. When will we tire finally of this? How on earth do we possibly match these systems up with what it means to be your followers? It makes no sense. End unjust systems. Restore your justice to all. You are a God of transformation. We need it. Don’t wait for everyone to get on board with this please. Amen.
