Prayer for September 8, 2021: Please pray with me. God of Shalom, you are always enough. You provide enough. Why do we keep searching for more? What is it about humanity that we are never satisfied. Which makes no sense when it comes to you. How could be not be satisfied with you and what you provide for us? That makes no sense. Forgive us when we try to take your name and use it for our own purposes – as if our purposes are somehow better than your will. Amen.

Call to Action: Shalom means wholeness and completeness. Look and see where there is incompleteness and unwholeness. Observe how these things are broken and how we seek more, but are never satisfied. What is God calling us to related to these things?
