Thank you for this, it was helpful. Perhaps taking Ephesians 6:12 as a hermeneutical tool for evaluating the current racial strife and broader struggles for justice, might assist in balancing short term and long term thinking?
I hadn’t thought about Ephesians 6:12, but I would certainly put racism in that category, along with narcissism too, and a variety of other forces at work in the world.
