Prayer for November 20, 2020

Prayer for November 20, 2020: Please pray with me. O God, King of the Universe, we have such amazing titles for you. We call you King. Yet, do we really believe it? Do our actions match up with our words? Or do we put boundaries on your kingship? Do we tell you what you have a say in? Do we think we can contain you in our compartments? If you are king, then we are not. If you are king, then everything else is not – not our politics, our money, our allegiances, our loyalties, our preferences, nothing. Give us the courage to be congruent in our word and action. Amen.
